GMTI pioneered the use of AI with bispectral cameras in challenging environments.
Fire AI Detects and Notifies
How our system supports your Fire Management Plan:
Wildland Fire Ignition Detected
Unplanned fire ignition detection or Prescribed Burn fire ignition detection outside of a predefined geo-bounded area will trigger an alert with the location coordinates/map views. Prescribed Burns can be predefined with a geo-bounded area to eliminate “controlled” Prescribed Burns from triggering redundant alerts. With our Sensor Cloud (shown at right below Fire AI video), early fire ignition detection is possible and fires can potentially be detected before a smoke plume is even visible above the forest canopy or on the horizon.
Assess Situation/Objectives
Utilizing bispectral cameras (automatic scanning Base Station PTZ and a Sensor Cloud for improved viewshed) coupled with a suite of sensors, Operators can rely on our AI for maximum situational awareness. To combat information overload, our system provides Operators with automated prioritized alerts to investigate and assess active areas of interest.
Identify Strategic Response
Once an assessment has been made that a response is necessary, a Fire Incident Ticket (FIT) is opened to launch a Preplanned Response or Developed Response. The FIT keeps a log of comms, video, sensor data, and more, where information can collected, viewed, and shared.
Implement Response
It is on our Roadmap for response command and control to be integrated with Team Awareness Kit (TAK) for improved situational awareness and resource collaboration.
Outcome
Objectives are tracked in our system until the Objective is achieved. Objectives Not Met results in a loop back to Identify Strategic Response until the Objective is achieved.
Report
Storage of the final Fire Report and other relevant records are stored with the related FIT.
Virtually everything in our system is customizable and offers high levels of interoperability. The functionality of our system is too in-depth to explain it all here. Contact us today for more details.
This video shows the camera views of an Operator at a remote Monitoring Station viewing a raging fire from a safe vantage point miles away. Accessing a Base Station PTZ camera as well as two of the surrounding Sensor Cloud cameras provides the Operator with unprecedented situational awareness with views and sound from the middle of the raging fire.
Long range bispectral PTZ camera with integral laser range finder, laser illuminator, and gyroscopic stabilization (high elevation mount).
Side-by-side video streams from the visible and thermal spectrums.
